Chapter History

Algona FFA Chapter was founded in the year 1947 in Algona, Iowa. The chapter has been very successful and beneficial to the community since. Of several awards earned by the chapter through the years, one of the most impressive was a silver rating for the Supreme National Chapter Award in 2014. Just four years later in 2018, the chapter received a $10,000 grant from Monsanto to attain an aquaponics system. Currently, the chapter is accountable for 74 members.
